An old, badly damaged window that had seen better days
Flattened out and disassembly
Back in its frame and good as new
Each piece was 1/4" thick, beveled. 30" X 30" Heavy window.
Unique filigree buttons were a challenge to remove and replace.
Complete rebuild.
This window was modified from a cabinet door window to a regular window. Unusual design. Only the 4 pieces around the painted piece are beveled. All the other pieces are 1/4" thick. Zinc came. Heavy window.
This window was in a funeral home in Michigan. It had several broken pieces in the center design. The lead in the edges of the came was so badly deteriorated that I feared damaging the window even further if I removed it from its wood frame so I repaired it still in its frame. The window is now mounted in the living room of a turn of the century house remodel.
Other Repairs
Broken helmet guard section on a free hanging piece commemorating football championships.
Replaced the piece and added reinforcement behind it.
